Create a Facebook Charity Fundraiser

There are many reasons to start a Facebook Charity Fundraiser to support A Bounce Forward...in honor of your birthday or other event, to support your own group or team, or to help raise funds for your own urgent needs.

​Please follow the directions below to start your fundraiser.
On a desktop computer
  1. Go to your Facebook page.
  2. Look for Fundraisers on the left (may need to click "see more")
  3. Under Raise money for a nonprofit click Select nonprofit
  4. Type A Bounce Forward in the search bar, then click on it when it pops up
  5. You now have a dashboard for the fundraiser
  6. Add in information on the left (amount to raise, date to end, title, why you are raising money - see below for help in what to add here)
  7. When finished, click Create
  8. Remember to share it and ask others to share as well.

On mobile
  1. Go to Facebook and click 3 lines on bottom left (iOS) or top right (Android)
  2. Scroll down to look for Fundraisers (may need to click search icon at top and type it in)
  3. Click on Fundraiser, then Create Fundraiser
  4. Click on Nonprofit
  5. Type A Bounce Forward in the search bar, then click on it when it pops up
  6. You now have a dashboard for the fundraiser
  7. Add in information (Title,  why you are raising money - see below for help in what to add here, amount to raise)
  8. When finished, click Create
  9. Remember to share it and ask others to share as well.
What to say for "why I'm raising money":
"We are starting a fundraiser to help with <insert cause or reason to raise money here. Be as specific as possible>."

Add any personal or helpful information about your story and why it's important.

"Please consider donating to this cause through “A Bounce Forward” a local central PA charitable nonprofit. They support people with emergent needs like us. Your donation with “A Bounce Forward” is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law and 100% of all net proceeds go to our needs."

Add something at the end like "We appreciate any and all help with this - whether it's a donation, or to share this link, or to keep us in your prayers. Thank you."
